Lauren convenes a variety of groups and circles focused on human liberation and collective trauma healing. Emotional-cpr.org lists all global trainings.
Honoring Ourselves and Each Other
Two years ago Lauren co-founded the Honoring Circle (HC). Since then a small group of us have practiced this process every week. It has changed our lives so we decided to invite others to get a sense of this practice. We currently have participants from across the US and Europe and people from Africa and the Far East in our free HCs occurring from March 6, 2022 through April 16, 2022.
The intention of the HC is to deepen our awareness of self, including our body, and mindfully listen to both ourselves and to others, and the Universe, creating a resonant, healing space.
Currently there are HC openings (all in Eastern/New York time) on Monday 5-6pm, Tuesday 10-11am, Wednesday 6-7pm and Thursday 2-3pm. This schedule could change/expand to accommodate more people. Each Circle is limited to 5 people. Contact Lauren to join an HC. See the 3-11-22 blog “Honoring Ourselves and Each Other” for the Circle format.
Lauren’s last in-person eCPR training was in Delhi, India in March 2020 and she continues to provide these trainings virtually to persons in South Asia, Africa and Europe as well as the U.S. Her specific eCPR trainings are no longer listed here but appear on the eCPR web.

We are fortunate to be alive at this time and to be able to come together in a safe and respectful space. As we undergo a major shift in our culture ending the oppression of LGBTQI is an important part of the struggle to transform of society.
The purpose of the sessions are to get un-numb by giving people a space to have a voice, speak from their heart, be heard, validated and respected. The gatherings also provide a safe and compassionate space which serves as a contradiction to the harshness of the world we live in.
“Orlando reminded me just how vulnerable we remain as a community. With all of our recent accomplishments, we are still openly vulnerable to those who want to do us harm. May we stay strong, united, and vigilant.”—Iden Campbell McCollum
“Forty-nine individuals were celebrating the beauty of their lives when they were brutally murdered. Their deaths are a call for truth, reconciliation, forgiveness, peace, and the development of inclusive next steps that advance the safety and respect for everyone that are so desperately needed in our communities today.”—Lauren Spiro

What steps can we take both as individuals and as a community to enhance emotional wellness for everyone? How can we each be a healing voice and be part of creating a healing community?
Healing Voices is a documentary following the real life stories of three individuals who overcame extreme mental states and who integrated their experiences into their lives in meaningful ways. The film includes commentary from experts in the field. Healing Voices presents a holistic perspective on psychosis and altered states and invites us to rethink our cultural understanding of mental health and chart pathways for effective alternative healing that allows individuals to lead joyous and productive lives.

Dialogue 2: – What is the relationship between our emotions and our soul?
Another way to ask this question is what is our essence and how do we express that essence? In preparation for this topic it may be useful to ponder:
Are emotions a pathway to the soul?
What is the relationship between our essence, hearing voices and the divine?
